Mick Jagger's granddaughter Amba Jackson, 16, says she's ready for marriage
Unlike her mother, who has always steered clear of matrimony, Mick Jagger’s granddaughter Amba has already found the man she wants to marry — and she’s only sweet 16.
Amba Jackson, who is Jade Jagger’s younger daughter by her former lover, artist Piers Jackson, says she is secure, settled and living in London with her handsome beau Frankie Legrange, 17.
The couple are at the same school and Amba tells me: ‘I’m in love and we’ll be getting married.’
The lovebirds met as children in Mustique where Frankie’s banker father has a villa, as does Amba’s rock grandpa.
They were reunited at Collingham sixth form college in West London, although Frankie is in the year above.
They have now moved in together near the school and Amba tells me Frankie has met her mother many times: ‘They get on marvellously. But apart from Christmas, I haven’t seen Mum much because she’s been out in Goa for months, selling her jewellery on the beach.’
Jagger's girl Jade to wed DJ in India where fiancé went down on one knee
You’d be forgiven for not finding matrimony appealing if veteran hellraiser Mick Jagger was your father.
After all, the twice-married Rolling Stone has been linked to countless beauties, has seven children by four different loves and his ‘marriage’ to lissom Jerry Hall was not even legal.
However, at the age of 40, Mick’s second eldest daughter, jewellery designer Jade, has finally decided to put the rock star knight’s poor example behind her.
She has told friends she is getting married, for the first time, to handsome music festival promoter and DJ Adrian Fillary.
Adrian proposed to Jade in India last month, I am told. And in a decidedly old-fashioned romantic gesture which may bode well for this union, he even phoned Sir Mick beforehand to ask for his daughter’s hand.
Jade, whose mother is the human rights activist Bianca Jagger, had two long-term loves before she met Fillary, also 40.
She has daughters Assisi, 20, and Amba, 17, from her relationship with artist Piers Jackson.
Remarkably, Jade’s decision comes just days after I revealed that Amba has also found the man she wants to settle down with, her A-level student boyfriend and billionaire’s son Frankie Lagrange, with whom she has exchanged rings.
Jade’s romantic history includes a ten-year affair with hard-partying nightclub DJ Dan Williams, with whom she lived at her farmhouse set in 20 acres in Ibiza. But last March she announced their affair was over. She also put the Ibiza estate up for sale.
Jade then began dating Adrian and has told friends they are officially engaged and will marry in a few months’ time in Goa, where they have been staying. Jade has a house and jewellery design shop on the beach in the west Indian state. ‘It’s going to be quite a big wedding,’ says one friend.

Enjoying yourself Jade? Ms Jagger shows off a new relaxed look on holiday in Spain
Many female celebrities work out for months and months in a bid to get themselves in the best shape possible for bikini season - just in case they are photographed.
But, as Jade Jagger holidayed in Spain last month, she seemed entirely unconcerned about whether or not anyone was taking pictures, showing off her new relaxed look with pride.
In fact, the 39-year-old jewellery designer was so chilled out that she decided to go topless as she enjoyed the sunshine in Formentera.
Wearing just a pair of black frilly bikini bottoms, Jade strolled along the beach before taking a cooling dip in the sea with her boyfriend Adrian Fillary.
Mother-of-two Jade spoke recently about attempting to maintain her figure, and revealed she lives virtually entirely on courgettes.
She said: 'We have lots of fruit trees and vegetables - We live endlessly on courgettes. I certainly wouldn't approve of a diet of McDonald's for my children.
'Because I live so internationally, it'd been an important part of my life to bring them up in the countryside.'
Jade added that she is known in her family for her culinary skills.
She said: 'Cooking is an important part of a good stable family life I like to get the family together; there's a huge nurturing element in it.
'That's one of the things my family miss most when I'm travelling - my Sunday roasts and my Japanese meals.'
In another recent interview, Jade, who turns 40 next month, said she isn't worried about growing older.
She said: 'I’m not interested in Botox or getting a facelift. There comes a point where you have to let go and accept that you are no longer the youngest and that you have other things to offer.'
Jade spends a lot of time in Spain, and owns a restored farmhouse, near the village of Sant Joan on the quiet north side of Ibiza.
However, Jade has now put the property up for sale, and is hopsing to sell by the end of the summer.
