But it does not look like Desperate Housewives favourite Eva Longoria's bubble is going to burst anytime soon, as she is in the middle of filming a new movie.

She donned an impressive puffy jacket as she recorded scenes for The Truth in chilly Sudbury, Ontario yesterday,

 No doubt the bubble coat came in handy as she worked in the autumn Canadian weather.

And Eva, 36, whose native Texas is slightly warmer than her filming location, rounded off the look with a pair of khaki trousers and brown leather boots.

The star, whose divorce from basketball player Tony Parker was finalised earlier this year, also showed her maternal side when she held a young co-star on the set.

Eva Longoria paid David Letterman a visit last night to promote her new cookbook "Eva's Kitchen"... which was the last thing people were talking about after her little chat.

The "Desperate Housewives" star wore a tuxedo... kind of. It was a tuxedo jacket with no shirt underneath and matching shorts. Let's keep it real -- she looked hot. To say the late night host was distracted by the ensemble is a bit of an understatement. We don't blame him -- who wants to take family recipes when Eva frickin' Longoria is wearing that?

Longoria told Letterman, "I wore a tuxedo for you," to which he responded, "That's only part of one." There was also a moment where her button seemed to come undone, almost resulting in an on-air wardrobe malfunction for the actress. Letterman joked, "We're going to lose our liquor license, I know it."

The Desperate Housewives' actress, who is participating in the Malibu triathlon for charity, posted the pictures with a sign saying "Sophia this one's for you".

Sophia is a sick young girl who is staying at the hospital that will benefit from her participation.   

She wrote, "I received a letter today from the father of a young patient at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. 

"This is the charity benefiting from the coming Sunday's Malibu Triathlon in which I am tackling the swim portion of a Tri- Team including myself, Mr. Bob Iger and Julie Bowen."
