Jacqueline Fernandez, Murder-2 Actress

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress and model, currently working in Bollywood films. She is a former beauty queen who won the Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. She has received an International Indian Film Academy Award and Stardust Award for Best Female Debut in 2010, for her role in the Indian film Aladin.

Born in Colombo, Western Province Fernandez comes from a Sinhalese family in Sri Lanka. At the age of three her family moved to Bahrain. In Bahrain, she studied at the The Sacred Heart School. While schooling she participated in many co-curricular activities including ballet, drama and athletics. After graduating from the Murrey University in Melbourne, Australia with a degree for mass media studies, she chose modelling as her profession, providing her service to a number of fashion designers in Australia, Singapore, Dubai and Sri Lanka.

In March 2006, Fernandez was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2006. She also competed in Miss Universe 2006.

After competing at Miss Universe, she worked as an anchor on Lanka Business Report and wrote a weekly column for The Daily Mirror while modeling in India.

Fernandez made her acting debut in the 2009 Bollywood fantasy movie Aladin directed by Sujoy Gosh alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, and Ritesh Deshmukh. She played the character of Jasmine, the new girl in college who has come from America.

2010 saw her once again appearing alongside Ritesh Deshmukh again in the romantic comedy Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai. She also had a cameo appearance in Sajid Khan's Housefull in a song called 'Apni tho Jaise Theise' which was a big success. The film starred Akshay Kumar in the lead role while Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Arjun Rampal featured in supporting roles. Fernandez's third film Murder 2 was released in July 2011; while Housefull 2 is set to release in 2012.

Rosario Dawson was born on May 9, 1979, New York City, New York, U.S.. Rosario Dawson is an American actress, singer, and writer. Rosario Dawson has appeared in films such as Kids, Men in Black II, 25th Hour, Sin City, Clerks II, Rent, Death Proof, The Rundown, Eagle Eye, Alexander, Seven Pounds, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Unstoppable.

Rosario Dawson dated rapper and businessman, Jay-Z, in early 2000. Rosario Dawson claimed in an interview with the NY Daily news that the rapper took her virginity. Dawson also dated former Sex and the City star Jason Lewis for two years. They lived together in Los Angeles until they separated in November 2006. In December 2008, Rosario Dawson confirmed on the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that she had been dating an international DJ whom she met in a French cafe.

Rosario Dawson is involved with the Lower East Side Girls Club and supports other charities such as environmental group Global Cool, the ONE Campaign, Oxfam, Amnesty International, Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, Stay Close.org (a poster and public service ad campaign for PFLAG where she is featured with her uncle Frank Jump), International Rescue Committee, and Voto Latino, and Rosario Dawson participated in the Vagina Monologues. Rosario Dawson is on the V-Day Board. Rosario Dawson attended both the Democratic National Convention as well as the Republican National Convention in 2008.

In October 2008, Rosario Dawson became a spokeswoman for TripAdvisor.com’s philanthropy program, More Than Footprints, involving Conservation International, Doctors Without Borders, National Geographic Society, The Nature Conservancy, and Save The Children. Also in October 2008, Rosario Dawson lent her voice to the RESPECT! Campaign, a movement aimed at preventing domestic violence. She recorded a voice message for the Giverespect.org Web site stressing the importance of respect in helping stop domestic violence.

Rosario Dawson is a supporter of Arsenal Football Club. On February 16, 2011, before an Arsenal FC vs FC Barcelona UEFA Champions League match, Rosario Dawson wrote on her official Twitter account: "I'll be happy with either team winning cuz I love them both but yes I'm a Gunner first & foremost sooooo #gooooArsenal."
